Ministering in Mt. Washington for these last 14 years has presented our family with great blessings and many new friends. We have experienced God's faithfulness in ways that we never dreamed possible. We are grateful and confident that we serve a loving, merciful God who is greater than any obstacle we might face.

We sincerely believe that our mission and our passion is to help men and women to become more intimately, passionately and powerfully connected to God. Our prayer is that each individual will be empowered to become their personal best, live to their full potential and experience total fulfillment and victory in their lives.

God has given us some precious people here at Mt. Washington Church of God, who have sincere loving hearts that glorify His name. Our goal and purpose is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ spread in the Mt. Washington area and around the world. Working for my Savior and seeing many come to know Him remains my greatest joy.

Pastor Scott is a Ordained Bishop in the Church of God(Cleveland, TN).  Pastor's Scott and Joy have been married for over 30 years and have two daughters, Jessica (Adam) and Jennifer who are very much a part of everything they do. Pastor's Scott and Joy preach and live out the principle of family as their first and most important ministry. Beyond that, doing all things as if unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23) is the primary motivating force behind our family's lifestyle and ministry.

Sister Jessica Borders is our Worship Leader and Children's Church Director. Jessica has stepped into her calling as Worship Leader while also having a burden for the children of Mt. Washington to experience God like never before. Through her leadership the children of MWCOG have grown closer to God than ever before. Jessica currently leads Worship for all services and teaches Children's Church on Sunday mornings. Jessica is Pastor Scott & Joy's oldest daughter and has been married to her husband Adam for 9 years.

Sister Aammy Warren loves the Lord and has been our church Treasurer for the last 5 years. Aammy is also on our Worship team and has been married to husband Brian for the last 8 years. Aammy and Brian together have 3 children.

Brian Warren loves the Lord with all of his heart and serves with gladness. Brian is our Building Manager. If it needs to get done, Brian is the person to get it done. Brian is also on the Pastors Council and has been married to his wife Aammy for 8 years and has 3 children.

Sister Janet Nelson is our volunteer Sunday School Teacher who loves the Lord in everything she does. God is using Janet to teach the Adult Sunday School class each Sunday the mighty word of the Lord. Janet was faithfully married to her husband Tim for 47 years before he passed. Together they have 1 son. Janet is also on the Worship Team.

Sister Vicki Morris is our volunteer Wednesday Night ReCharge Bible Study Teacher who is sold out to Jesus in everything she does. Vicki teaches the Adult class on Wednesday nights as we go through the Bible. Vicki is married to her husband Joe for 49 years. Vicki and Joe have 3 boys, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
